Jill works as an Independent Nurse Consultant, specialising in community IV therapy.

She has worked in the community since 1986, and received her District Nursing Certificate in 1988. She set up and developed the first adult community IV therapy service in the UK in 1990, and managed the service for 13 years.

Jill is involved in all aspects of IV therapy in the community, with particular interest in vascular access devices, anti-microbial therapy, chemotherapy and IV training for community nurses. She has spoken at many conferences and published a number of journals and books on IV therapy in the community.
