Antibiotic action

Antibiotic Action is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness about, and the political profile of the need to stimulate interest in antibiotic discovery and development.
Sponsored by Kevin Barron MP, and supported by both national and international organisations, the campaign will launch with a parliamentary event at the House of Commons on 9 November 2011, followed by delivery of an MP sponsored petition to 10 Downing Street on the same day.

NIVAS is pleased to support Antibiotic Action and its aims. The absence of effective antibiotics in 21st century medicine is unthinkable. We would encourage our members, professional colleagues and patients to give their support to this important campaign.
