Frequently Asked Questions
My username is not recognised?
This would have been issued to you when you became a member of NIVAS. It is most likely to be one of the two following cases:
-
Your surname, with a capital first letter, e.g.:
Richards
-
Your initial (capital), followed by your surname, with a capital first letter, e.g.:
ARichards
Your password (also known as your Access Key) would have been issued to you when you became a member of NIVAS.
-
It is the 10-digit code of letters and numbers that were issued to you alongside your username, e.g.:
RJA2P3AC97
- Whilst we issue all members with a unique code, you may have changed this to something more memorable (and known only to yourself). This can be changed back to the original password (by an administrator) should you so wish
I’ve entered my username and password but it still won’t let me log in?
Please note that all usernames and passwords issued to members must be entered into the NIVAS website in the correct case.
Please note that certain letters/numbers look like each other! For example, what you might think is a 1 (arabic numeral one) might actually be an upper case i.
If you have any further problems with gaining access to the NIVAS website, then please contact Alexander Richards (NIVAS secretariat) via email at alexander.richards@succinctcomms.com or via telephone on +44 (0)1494 549 103.
